The students in advanced studies of Biology will be able to learn, through
inquiry and problem solving, ways that will encourage educational growth and
understanding of the nature of science as well as the content of the Biology
course.  Students should feel the classroom is an instructive environment in
which mistakes can be made and will result in deeper learning.

The 2009- 2010 school year marks my 31st year of teaching, but it is only my
5th year teaching at Kell.  I got my original B.S. degree from Louisiana
State University, and I graduated with a Masters degree from Kennesaw State University in December of 2004.
I am hoping to have another great year at Kell with another wonderful set of
students.
 
On a personal level:
I have been married for 32 years and I have 2 grown sons.  My youngest
just graduated from Georgia Tech!  

The youngest member of our
family is of the feline persuasion and knows that she owns the house.

My hobbies include reading, singing, running, and scrapbooking.
